Tour C: La Azulita - 2 Tage
The Northern Side around La Azulita, leaving from Posada Casa Vieja
Day 1:
In the morning we leave from ‚Posada Casa Vieja and drive to La
Azulita. There we will bird around La Carbonera cloud forest and coffee
plantations. Highlights: Crested Quetzal, Masked Trogon, Plush capped
Finch, Military Macaw, Bronze Winged Parrot, Rose Headed Parakeet,
Black Mandibled Toucan, Collared Aracari, Emerald Toucanet and
different hummingbirds, flycatchers and tanagers.
Overnight in nice Posada in La Azulita
Day 2: In the morning we will bird around La
Azulita again. Here it depends on you if you prefer to bird around the
cloudforest or the coffee plantation. We recomend to bird the habitat
where we will see new species. When the bird activity gets quiet, we
will drive to Tabay.
